Alter-Egos: Halalman

This character is the third of four in my Alter-Ego series. This one is based off my friend Abdul. With his permission I turned him into the modern day superhero he never was: Halalman. I had a lot of fun with this model and sculpting the muscles was a great learning experience. This character is probably the closest in likeness and realism out of all four characters.
A turntable of Halalman in his final form. The colors and chest logo were inspired by logos and emblems for halal food products. This character in general came along much faster than the others so I took the time to make a themed base for him to stand on.
A colorless shot of the model.
These are the earliest versions of the sculpt. I first attempted to sculpt the character asymmetrically but realized I wasn't quite ready for such a task. The figure on the left is the base that I created for the final character.
Here is all the reference I took and gathered for the sculpt. I wanted to make sure he looked extremely well built and defined so what better place to look than body-builders?
